Universal handheld probe series

The universal handheld sensor series from B+B makes numerous measurements child’s play. Whether it is the ambient air sensor, the surface sensor, the immersion sensor or the insertion sensor, the uncomplicated plug-and-play installation enables quick commissioning and easy handling. Since the probes are already calibrated, accurate temperature values are obtained quickly. With the flexible coiled cable and via a standardized TE connector (the ambient air probe via mini DIN 8 pin), each handheld probe can be connected to a portable measuring device with the appropriate connection. This means that only one measuring device is required, to which the various sensors can be easily connected, depending on the application. The measured values can be read quickly and easily on the display of the measuring device, and even high temperatures can be measured with the probes without any problems. The ergonomically shaped handle and the ribbed handle base prevent damage from dropping and provide a completely new measuring experience.

The ambient air sensor

Due to the long-term stable polymer humidity sensor, the handheld sensor is absolutely suitable for temperature and humidity measurements in rooms, measurements for quality assurance and in industrial measurement technology. The portable measurement technology ensures fast measurements in different rooms and environments.

The surface probe / tape surface probe

Due to a thin measuring tape, the surface probe is particularly suitable for hard-to-reach places and thus enables uncomplicated measurement at several positions. A cover cap protects the measuring point for safekeeping. This is flexible and yields under pressure.

The immersion probe

The immersion probe is suitable for measuring many media. These include liquid, gaseous and semi-solid media.

The insertion probe

This insertion probe is used for temperature measurement in liquid and semi-solid media. Thus it serves as a core temperature sensor and also as an immersion sensor. With these two properties, it is particularly well suited for use in food technology and industrial applications. The water vapor-tight design of the insertion probe ensures fast and accurate measurement with excellent response time.
