Medical technology encompasses a wide range of technical processes and products. The aim of these products is to save lives, to support healing in the best possible way and to increase the quality of life. B+B has also been developing high-precision temperature sensors and pressure transmitters for a wide range of applications in medical technology for several years. These are implemented in different machines or processes and support the respective process in monitoring. Due to the high accuracy of B+B products, we have grown over the years to become a reliable partner as a medical technology supplier. Even in direct contact with body fluids, our products comply with European and international medical technology guidelines.

Together with our customers and project partners, we have already achieved groundbreaking new developments in some OEM projects and thus ensured medical progress. Accompanying the product development, we contribute to the creation of all necessary documents for a smooth certification – also according to the new medical device regulation “MDR” (Medical Device Regulation).

Our pressure transmitters, temperature and humidity sensors are used in a variety of applications and are used on equipment in operating rooms, instrument cleaning and monitoring equipment. B+B products are also present in laboratories, their instruments and equipment. For example in magnetic stirrers, centrifuges, water baths and temperature control systems.
