B+B at the Wälderpokal in Waldau

Last weekend not only our B+B banners were able to enjoy their deployment – the snow that arrived at short notice naturally made all skiers’ hearts beat faster. Just in time for the exciting race, the ski slope in Waldau was covered with a perfect blanket of snow. This meant top weather conditions for all participants.

Normally, the Wälderpokal series consists of three races, which are held in Urach, Fischbach and Waldau. However, due to the weather conditions this year, only one race took place, which was also counted as the final. The Skiclub Urach 1959 e.V. took over the organization of this final, while B+B supported the racers as one of the main sponsors.

The race was originally scheduled to take place on the in-house slope in Urach, but poor weather conditions meant that it had to be moved to Waldau. This decision proved to be a stroke of luck, as the optimal weather conditions there not only attracted numerous spectators, but also led to many late registrations. Nothing stood in the way of an exciting and successful ski race.

A total of around 123 racers took part in this long-established regional sporting event and put their skills and abilities to the test. In addition to a detailed race inspection, all age groups were able to take part in the race and dedicate themselves to the race course in the sunshine.

We are delighted that the Wälderpokal Ski Race 2025 provided so much joy and that B+B was represented as part of the winter sports enthusiasts.
