New 3D printer

After a transport robot has been traveling through B+B’s production halls since the beginning of the year, the company has now upgraded further. The reinforcement in the technology area of 3D printing is an enormous relief for B+B. The new Ultimaker S5 3D printer from the Dutch company Ultimaker facilitates work in the areas of prototyping, pattern making and design. Expensive retooling of machines for sample parts is now a thing of the past, and it is also easier to test newly developed products.

The Ultimaker S5 is a compact 3D printer that is very easy to get up and running. The printer can be put into operation via the touch display on the front. The simple plug-and-play installation was one of the winning arguments for the model from the Netherlands, which can be integrated into any work environment thanks to its compact design.

In addition, the printer can process all kinds of materials, ranging from PLA to polycarbonate, TPU and nylon.
