The temperature at surfaces of pipes is an important parameter for process control and monitoring in many applications. The temperature sensors required here must be specially designed to meet the high requirements such as pipe diameter and response time.

The pipe contact sensors from B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH are ideal for temperature measurements on pipes. They are equipped with a prismatic aluminum housing, which is an excellent heat conductor and guarantees a fast response time. Due to the tensioning chain with spring it is possible to handle a wide range of tube diameters up to 150 mm, with one probe. Larger pipe diameters are also available on request.

The B+B pipe contact sensors are ideal for use in refrigeration/air-conditioning technology, combined heat and power plants and in heating technology for recording the supply and return temperatures. The sensors are available with different sensors like Pt100, Pt1000 or KTY81-210.

The boiler sensors of B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH are ideal for temperature measurements in the boiler and are used for regulation and control of the boiler temperature. They are equipped with a stainless steel housing, which serves as a perfect heat conductor. Thus, the boiler sensors from B+B guarantee a fast response time in the measuring range of -10…+105 °C. The sensors are available with different sensors like Pt100, Pt1000 or KTY81-210.

In order to adjust the corresponding devices to the outside temperature in building automation, heating as well as cooling and air conditioning technology, a suitable control system is required. The outdoor sensors of B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH are ideal for outdoor temperature measurements on the facade and are used for weather-compensated regulation and control for e.g. a boiler. They are equipped with an impact and vibration resistant housing made of UV-resistant plastic and are mounted on the wall by only one screw. Connection cables with diameters from 4.5 mm to 7 mm can be easily connected.

The probes are available with different sensors such as Pt100, Pt1000 or KTY81-210.
