Accredited calibrations according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (DAkkS) of resistance thermometers, thermocouples and hygrometers are offered

After successful assessment, the calibration laboratory of B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH was accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the calibration of the thermodynamic measurands temperature and relative humidity.

Measuring equipment used today must deliver reliable and precise results, and this is also expressed in various quality management systems. The growing quality demands and increasingly strict guidelines lead to ever higher requirements, rules and specifications in the production and manufacturing process. Whether production or office management, more and more processes are being monitored and checked by measurement technology.

Our customers’ quality management systems also require metrological traceability of the measuring and testing equipment used. As a manufacturer of temperature and humidity measurement technology, we can now offer measurement technology and calibration services from a single source. To achieve this, a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 was introduced.

Accredited calibrations according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 guarantee metrological traceability to national and international standards and have international recognition via multilateral agreements (EA/ILAC) in the signatory countries.

Since every measuring instrument ages and drifts due to environmental influences or its use, regular calibrations maximize the safety of its use. The process of calibration therefore helps to ensure quality and ensures that rejects, rework and replacement claims can be reduced or even avoided.
