Professional life in measurement technology
This year, two young people started an apprenticeship at B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH in Donaueschingen. Over the next three years, the young people will be trained in the professions of industrial clerk and electronics technician for devices and systems.
The family-run measurement technology company trains several apprentices every year and is pleased to be able to offer the career starters mostly promising prospects in the company after the training. The measurement technology specialist is particularly proud to be able to take on young talents in this economically difficult year as well and to be able to accompany them with advice during their first steps in professional life. The guarantee for the high-quality products from B+B is, among other things, the highly qualified and long-standing employees with their enormous commitment.
For more than 30 years, B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH has stood for innovative measurement technology and is a globally active family business with over 120 employees. We are your partner in the fields of measurement and automation technology and since 1984 with our know-how your specialist in all areas of temperature, humidity, pressure, brightness, motion and level measurement technology, and since recently also in the field of wireless measurement technology.
From trainees for trainees
The two young professionals were welcomed to B+B by the 2nd and 3rd year apprentices. After a short round of introductions, they were given a tour of the entire company with countless insights into day-to-day operations.
The career starters can expect an instructive and comprehensive training, in which they pass through various departments and metrology-specific areas, receive training and are always individually supervised by the instructors.
This training philosophy guarantees that the “apprentices” gain a lot of practical experience and can use their knowledge as a qualified employee in the various work areas and departments after their training.
B+B welcomes the new apprentices Kevin Bank (industrial clerk) and Jannis Pfaff (electronics technician for devices and systems) at the site in Donaueschingen.
