B+B has been a reliable partner in the field of measurement technology for the automotive industry for many years. The screw-in sensor with B+B connector Junior is ideally suited as a sensor for measuring oil temperature, as it ensures precise measurements in temperature ranges from -50…250 °C. The cooling water temperature sensors are characterized by their high resistance and accuracy. This means that any temperature rise can be reliably measured. The digital humidity/temperature sensors measure the temperature and humidity in the vehicle interior and thus control the pleasant indoor climate. Also installed in vehicles is the exhaust gas high temperature sensor, which measures the temperature and provides stable measured values.

In addition to the standard sensor models for the automotive industry, B+B is also a specialist for customer-specific products in this area. This also resulted in large OEM projects, which we implemented together with customers and project partners from the automotive industry and brought to series production readiness.

AdBlue temperature monitoring system

Together with a large automotive supplier, we are developing a temperature monitoring system for the AdBlue tank. The temperature sensor is installed in the cooling water valve, which is used in a system for exhaust gas aftertreatment in trucks. This high-quality temperature sensor is installed in the AdBlue channel in contact with the medium and ensures that the temperature monitoring is guaranteed.

Temperature sensor for agricultural machinery

For a large manufacturer of agricultural equipment and machinery, we have developed a sensor that is used for temperature monitoring in the transmission. The customized cable sensor is also called a slot resistance thermometer and is also used for thermal monitoring of electric drives, generators and transformers.
