New laser for production

In October 2021, an additional laser welding system moved into the B+B production building. The ergonomically shaped workstation can be adjusted to the user’s body size and needs by means of two Z-axes, thus ensuring a comfortable working posture. Compared to B+B’s existing laser welding system, the new achievement has a rotary axis for welding round components. This increases flexibility and product range. In addition to the extra axis, the new system also has an integrated camera for training purposes. This makes it easier to train employees at the new workstation, and the entire laser welding process can also be illustrated in a simple and understandable way.

For B+B, the additional laser welding system means higher production capacity in the area of laser welding.
